Server Compass is a desktop application designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your infrastructure data, credentials, and deployment information should remain on your machines, not ours.
All application data, including server credentials, deployment configurations, and environment variables, are stored locally on your machine. Server Compass encrypts sensitive data using industry-standard encryption methods.
Your data never leaves your computer except when directly communicating with your VPS servers via SSH.
Server Compass integrates with the following third-party services:
When you connect your GitHub account, we use OAuth to access your repositories. We only request the minimum permissions required for deployment functionality.
We use LemonSqueezy to handle purchases. They have their own privacy policies governing payment data.
When provisioning SSL certificates, your domain information is sent to Let's Encrypt's certificate authority.
