Use the Fider template in Server Compass to deploy a customer feedback board on your VPS with a local MailHog test inbox, then verify both web services.
Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find Fider in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the Fider template. Server Compass fills the Fider app, PostgreSQL database, MailHog test SMTP service, generated secrets, and persistent database volume.

Confirm the app name and compose service. In this run, the app was named fider-demo and used host port 3000.

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Fider and MailHog ports are available, and click Deploy.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Fider image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Fider app is marked Running with its published ports available.

Check the Fider setup/sign-up page, the MailHog inbox, and recent container logs to confirm the stack bootstrapped with working test SMTP.

Fider returned a browser-verifiable setup/sign-up page and MailHog returned HTTP 200 on the published inbox port.
It deploys Fider, PostgreSQL, and MailHog. MailHog captures outgoing email so the tutorial can be verified without external SMTP credentials.
The tutorial used host port 3000 for Fider. The template also publishes the MailHog test inbox port.
Yes. Complete the first-run setup in the browser, then replace MailHog with production SMTP before inviting real users.
No. The deployment guide should live on the Fider template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
