Use the Filestash template in Server Compass to deploy a web-based file manager on your VPS, then verify the web UI in a browser.
Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find Filestash in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the Filestash template. Server Compass fills the web service, persistent state volume, and public port.

Confirm the app name and compose service. In this run, the app was named filestash-demo and used host port 8334.

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Filestash web port is available, and click Deploy.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Filestash image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Filestash app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The Filestash web UI confirms the file manager service is reachable.

The Filestash web interface loaded successfully and displayed the file manager setup or login UI.
It deploys the Filestash container with a persistent state volume and a public web port.
The tutorial used host port 8334, which maps to the Filestash web UI on container port 8334.
Filestash can connect to backends such as S3, SFTP, FTP, WebDAV, Git, and local storage, depending on how you configure it after deployment.
No. The deployment guide should live on the Filestash template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
