After Filestash Opens

  • Configure Filestash authentication and storage backends before exposing the service beyond trusted networks.
  • Use a VPN, IP allowlist, firewall rule, or authenticated reverse proxy for production access.
  • Connect only the storage backends you need, such as S3, SFTP, FTP, or local volumes.
  • Use least-privilege credentials for each storage backend.
  • Back up the Filestash state volume before moving or replacing the VPS.
  • Keep the Filestash image updated for dependency and security fixes.

Verified Result

The Filestash web interface loaded successfully and displayed the file manager setup or login UI.
