Use the Glances template in Server Compass to deploy a self-hosted live system monitoring dashboard on your VPS, then verify metrics load.
Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find Glances in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the Glances template. Server Compass fills the web service, timezone, read-only Docker socket mount, host process access, and public web port.

Confirm the app name and compose service. In this run, the app was named glances-demo and used host port 4084.

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Glances web port is available, and click Deploy.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Glances image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Glances app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The Glances dashboard confirms live host metrics are reachable.

The Glances dashboard loaded successfully from the deployed container.
It deploys Glances in web mode with host process visibility and read-only Docker socket access for live system metrics.
The tutorial used host port 4084, which maps to the Glances web UI on container port 61208.
Open the dashboard, confirm CPU, memory, disk, and container metrics update, then add a custom Glances config if needed.
No. The deployment guide should live on the Glances template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
