Choose the Homebridge template. Server Compass fills the Homebridge service, persistent config volume, timezone, user IDs, and Config UI web port.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Homebridge image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Homebridge app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The Homebridge Config UI login page confirms the container is reachable and ready for first-run setup.

After Homebridge Opens

  • Sign in with admin/admin, then immediately change the default Config UI password.
  • Change the default HomeKit pairing PIN before pairing with iOS.
  • Back up the Homebridge data volume because it stores plugin configuration and device credentials.
  • Switch to host networking if mDNS discovery does not work from the iOS Home app.
  • Keep the Homebridge image and installed plugins updated.
