After Mumble Opens

  • Connect with a desktop or mobile Mumble client to the VPS host and port shown in Server Compass.
  • Log in as SuperUser with the password entered during deployment, then configure channels and ACLs.
  • Keep both TCP and UDP open on the selected port; UDP carries voice traffic.
  • Back up the Mumble data volume because it stores channels, permissions, users, and certificates.
  • Consider a DNS name and a managed certificate before sharing the server with a wider team.

Verified Result

The Mumble container was running and Docker reported published TCP and UDP listeners for client connections.
