Use the PrestaShop template in Server Compass to deploy a self-hosted open-source commerce storefront with MySQL on your VPS, then verify the store homepage in a browser.
Select your VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find PrestaShop in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the PrestaShop template. Server Compass fills the PrestaShop image, MySQL service, persistent storage, database settings, shop domain, admin folder, and required secret values.

Confirm the app name and compose services. In this run, the app was named prestashop-demo and used host port 8080.

Review the generated environment values, keep the database password masked, confirm the port is available, and click Deploy Now.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the PrestaShop and MySQL images, runs the automatic install, starts the containers, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the PrestaShop app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The PrestaShop storefront confirms the automatic install completed and the store is reachable.

The PrestaShop storefront loaded successfully in a browser.
It deploys PrestaShop 8.1 with MySQL 8.0, persistent application storage, automatic installation, and a generated admin folder.
The tutorial used host port 8080, which maps to the PrestaShop web server on container port 80.
The tutorial verifies the clean first-run storefront because checkout, payment, tax, and shipping settings should be configured for the real store before taking orders.
No. The deployment guide should live on the PrestaShop template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
Set up PrestaShop yourself using Docker Compose and the command line.
Access your server's command line by opening a terminal and running the SSH command below.
