Use the RustFS template in Server Compass to deploy a self-hosted S3-compatible object storage server on your VPS, then verify the RustFS web UI in a browser.
Select your VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find RustFS in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the RustFS template. Server Compass fills in the RustFS image, host port, and production environment.

Confirm the app name and compose services. In this run, the app was named rustfs-demo and used host port 4263.

Review the generated environment values, confirm the port is available, and click Deploy Now.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the RustFS image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the RustFS app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The RustFS web UI confirms the site is reachable.

It deploys RustFS as an S3-compatible object storage server with a browser console and persistent data volume.
The tutorial used host port 4263, which maps to the RustFS web server on container port 9000.
The tutorial verifies the web console because buckets, policies, and access keys depend on your production storage plan.
No. The deployment guide should live on the RustFS template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
