Use the Scrutiny template in Server Compass to deploy a self-hosted disk health monitoring dashboard on your VPS, then verify the Scrutiny web UI in a browser.
Select your VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find Scrutiny in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the Scrutiny template. Server Compass fills in the Scrutiny image, host port, privileged disk access, and persistent config/metrics volumes.

Confirm the app name and compose services. In this run, the app was named scrutiny-demo and used host port 4149.

Review the generated environment values, confirm the port is available, and click Deploy Now.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Scrutiny image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Scrutiny app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The Scrutiny web UI confirms the site is reachable.

It deploys Scrutiny so you can monitor disk SMART health and metrics from a web dashboard.
The tutorial used host port 4149, which maps to the Scrutiny web server on container port 8080.
The tutorial verifies the dashboard web UI because disk discovery and SMART data depend on the VPS hardware and device access.
No. The deployment guide should live on the Scrutiny template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
