Open the server Apps tab

Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Choose an app template

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Search for Casdoor

Select the Casdoor template

Choose the Casdoor template. Server Compass fills the identity service, MySQL database, generated database password, persistent volume, and public web port.

Review the Casdoor settings

Confirm the app name and compose service. In this run, the app was named casdoor-demo and used host port 4126.

Deploy Casdoor

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Casdoor web port is available, and click Deploy.

Watch the deployment progress

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Casdoor image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

Confirm Casdoor is running

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Casdoor app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open Casdoor in the browser

Open the application URL in a browser. The Casdoor login screen confirms the identity management web UI is reachable.

Place Casdoor behind HTTPS before connecting real client applications.
Change the default admin credentials immediately after first login.
Configure the public origin and callback URLs before enabling OAuth/OIDC clients.
Use least-privilege database/network access so only Casdoor reaches its MySQL container.
Back up the Casdoor MySQL volume because it stores users, applications, organizations, and signing keys.
Keep the Casdoor image updated for dependency and security fixes.
