Use the CloudBeaver template in Server Compass to deploy a web-based multi-database administration tool on your VPS, then verify the login screen in a browser.
Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find CloudBeaver in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the CloudBeaver template. Server Compass fills the CloudBeaver service, persistent workspace volume, and web port.

Confirm the app name and compose services. In this run, the app was named cloudbeaver-demo and used host port 8978.

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the web port is available, and click Deploy Now.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the CloudBeaver image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the CloudBeaver app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Click Open Application or open the application URL in a browser. The CloudBeaver initial setup screen confirms the web database administration interface is reachable.

It deploys the CloudBeaver container with a persistent `/opt/cloudbeaver/workspace` data volume.
The tutorial used host port 8978, which maps to the CloudBeaver web UI on container port 8978.
A fresh CloudBeaver deployment is considered reachable when the initial setup screen loads. The tutorial does not create or publish an admin password.
No. The deployment guide should live on the CloudBeaver template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
CloudBeaver is a web-based database management tool supporting PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and more. Self-hosting gives your team a shared database admin interface without installing desktop clients or exposing database ports.
PgAdmin is PostgreSQL-only. CloudBeaver supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, and many other databases in one interface.
phpMyAdmin is MySQL-only. CloudBeaver provides a modern UI supporting multiple database types.
DBeaver is desktop-only. CloudBeaver provides the same multi-database support as a web application accessible from any browser.
Server Compass deploys CloudBeaver on the same Docker network as your databases, enabling internal connections without exposing ports. Team members access it through the web — no desktop client needed.
