Use the Flipt template in Server Compass to deploy a self-hosted feature flag service on your VPS, then verify the web UI loads.
Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Use the template picker search to find Flipt in the Server Compass template catalog.

Choose the Flipt template. Server Compass fills the Flipt service, persistent data volume, bootstrap API token, and public web port.

Confirm the app name and compose service. In this run, the app was named flipt-demo and used host port 4065.

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Flipt web port is available, and click Deploy.

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Flipt image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Flipt app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open the application URL in a browser. The Flipt UI confirms the feature flag service is reachable.

The Flipt web interface loaded successfully from the deployed container.
It deploys Flipt with persistent storage and token authentication for self-hosted feature flags, namespaces, segments, and rules.
The tutorial used host port 4065, which maps to the Flipt web UI on container port 8080.
Open the UI, create a namespace, add a harmless test flag, and use the bootstrap token for API or SDK verification.
No. The deployment guide should live on the Flipt template detail page and be linked from the reusable template deployment docs page.
