Deploy Infisical on a VPS with Server Compass

Open the server Apps tab

Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Choose an app template

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Search for Infisical

Use the template picker search to find Infisical in the Server Compass template catalog.

Select the Infisical template

Choose the Infisical template. Server Compass fills the backend service, Postgres database, Redis service, encryption key, auth secret, site URL, and public web port.

Review the Infisical settings

Confirm the app name and compose service. In this run, the app was named infisical-demo and used host port 4062.

Deploy Infisical

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Infisical web port is available, and click Deploy.

Watch the deployment progress

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Infisical image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

Confirm Infisical is running

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Infisical app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open Infisical in the browser

Open the application URL in a browser. The Infisical signup page confirms the secrets management platform is reachable and ready for the first admin account.

After Infisical Opens

Back up the ENCRYPTION_KEY out of band before storing real secrets.
Register the first account immediately after deployment; it becomes the instance admin.
Put Infisical behind HTTPS and update SITE_URL before production use.
Back up the Postgres volume because it stores encrypted secrets and metadata.
Never expose Postgres or Redis ports publicly.
