Open the server Apps tab

Select the tutorial-vps VPS, open the Apps tab, and start a new app deployment. Keep sensitive server details hidden before capturing or sharing screenshots.

Choose an app template

Click New App and choose the template deployment path so Server Compass can load the built-in catalog.

Search for Redis Insight

Use the template picker search to find Redis Insight in the Server Compass template catalog.

Select the Redis Insight template

Choose the Redis Insight template. Server Compass fills the web service, persistent data volume, and published web port.

Review the Redis Insight settings

Confirm the app name and web UI port. In this run, the app was named redis-insight-demo and used host port 4036.

Deploy Redis Insight

Review the generated compose settings, confirm the Redis Insight web port is available, and click Deploy.

Watch the deployment progress

Keep the deployment modal open while Server Compass uploads the compose file, pulls the Redis Insight image, starts the container, and verifies the stack.

Confirm Redis Insight is running

After deployment finishes, return to the Apps tab and confirm the Redis Insight app is marked Running with its application URL available.

Open Redis Insight in the browser

Open the application URL in a browser. The Redis Insight welcome or connection page confirms the Redis management UI is reachable.

Add a Redis database connection from a private network or local Docker network.
Restrict public access before connecting production Redis instances.
Use Redis Insight only over HTTPS or a private tunnel in production.
Back up the Redis Insight data volume.
